Well done boys on an excellent effort in the United 1 Soccer Tournament. Results; Game 1-  FHS 0 Campbells Bay 0, Game 2 - FHS 3 Sunnynook 1,Game 3 - Mairangi Bay 3 FHS 1 (this was a close game despite the final score) and Game 4 - Browns Bay 4 FHS 0 . Browns Bay went through to the final and won against St Johns.
The boys showed good sportsmanship and played good football. Daniel and Bradley combined in the back superbly. Tyson held the midfield well and scored some wicked goals. Jordan and Korey had strong games on the wing and both scored. Matt played to his usual high standard against much bigger boys. His passing was outstanding and he also played goal keeper against Browns Bay. Scott play keeper for most of the games as Jackson was injured. He had trouble with the ball in the rain but over all did very well. Khamis was our utility sub. He played both up front and in the back. He was unlucky not to score in one of the games. Nick was absent with sickness. I was impressed with the boys. They  all played above my expectations as a team.
