We provide quality study programmes for students who are 5 – 11 years old.
Students can complete short or long term study programmes. Short term is a minimum of 10 weeks study. Students are placed in mainstream classes with New Zealand students of the same age.They attend the English language learning class where they learn to read, write and speak in English. The school employs an experienced English language teacher and learning assistants. Mrs Castagna the English Language teacher, provides pastoral care for all International Students.The students get to know each other well and develop special friendships with the help of Mrs Castagna.

This works out to $323.75 per week (incl GST) or $281.53 per week (excl GST)
These fees are correct at time of printing and may be subject to change.
Continued enrolment is subject to appropriate behavior and no requirements for additional assistance due to learning / physical difficulties being identified.
Forrest Hill School has agreed to observe and be bound by the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students published by the Minister of Education. Copies of the Code are available on request from this institution or from the New Zealand Ministry of Education website at http://minedu.govt.nz
HEALTH AND TRAVEL INSURANCE: “Most students are not entitled to publicly funded health services while in New Zealand unless they are:
If you do not belong to one of these special categories and you receive medical treatment during your visit, you will be liable for the full costs of that treatment. We strongly recommend that you have insurance that will cover the cost of medical treatment in New Zealand for the duration of your stay in New Zealand. We also strongly recommend that you obtain insurance to cover your travel to and from New Zealand.”
IMMIGRATION: Full details of visa and permit requirements, advice on rights to employment in New Zealand while studying and reporting requirements are available through the New Zealand Immigration Service, and can be viewed on their website at http://www.immigration.govt.nz.
From time to time an international student at Forrest Hill School may need to request a refund of their fees. These requests will be considered on an individual case basis.

Withdrawal from Forrest Hill School due to Exceptional Circumstances:
Where a student withdraws from the school and is eligible to receive a refund, payment will be retained by the school for the current term and the following term . If the request for withdrawal takes place in the final term no refund will be awarded. The actual total value of the refund to the person who paid the fees will be an amount the Board thinks appropriate. Any such amount will be calculated taking into account the following points:

If permanent residence is obtained after having enrolled at the school:
Reference: All contracts will be subject to New Zealand Law. New Zealand Law will apply and the parties will submit to the jurisdiction of the courts.
